Hi, I’m Leslie, the photographer behind Cardinal Creek Portrait Co.

Based in Ithaca, New York, I specialize in thoughtful, story-driven portrait photography rooted in authenticity and connection. I’m passionate about documenting the moments, milestones, and in-between seasons that make up your story.

For me, photography is about more than simply taking beautiful images. It’s about preserving a feeling, celebrating a chapter of life, and creating photographs that still feel meaningful years from now. Whether you arrive with a clear vision or need guidance along the way, my goal is always to create a relaxed, collaborative experience where you feel comfortable being fully yourself.

You do not need modeling experience or perfectly planned poses to create meaningful photographs. Some of the best moments happen naturally — in the laughter between poses, the quiet moments, and the genuine connection shared during a session.

Outside of photography, I’m someone who values creativity, connection, and finding beauty in everyday life — all things that naturally shape the way I approach my work behind the camera.
